Every year as Miss Primrose turns a year older I can't help but look at her and remember the little tiny girl she once was. She isn't so little anymore. Nine years old and growing up into such a talented, vibrant, kind, content girl that ever was. It is a joy and pleasure to watch her grow. We are very often in awe of who she is and feel excited to celebrate her birthday with her.
Her birthday fell on a school day so we were up early to celebrate and watch her open her presents. She got a cat Sylvania family to add to the dolls house collection, a light up rose, some cosy socks, an animal drawing book, books and a shirt from Grandma. Her favourite present was a Tamagotchi! She was thrilled. We also went on a little shopping expedition a few days before her birthday to pick out an outfit to wear to some upcoming parties. She chose a very fun sparkly jacket and matching purple skirt. It was lovely to have Grandma and Grandpa with us and they walked her up to the bus, with her cupcakes for class and off she went to enjoy a fun birthday with her friends.
Everyone is requesting cake alternatives this year and Primrose's pick was her favourite dessert - macaroons. Simple and sweet, we sang to her and enjoyed a decadent little treat.
There is so much to say about our beautiful nine year old. She is such beautiful soul. She is so creative and we marvel at her ideas and artistic abilities. Primrose is a wonderful friend, she loves imaginative play and can occupy herself endlessly with her ideas and adventures. She has the reading bug and loves delving into different characters. We are very proud of her and all the good she brings into the world.
