7th Heaven

Our little superstar has waiting patiently through three siblings birthdays to FINALLY arrive at his time to shine. Quill turned 7 in a blaze of Pokémon glory. He had all the bells and whistles on the actual day at home with us, plus a birthday badge and lollipops to take into his class. Then on the weekend it was party time!

The party powers that be shined down on us for the fourth time in a row (I am very grateful). Absolutely perfect weather for Quill's friends to come and celebrate him with Pokémon catching, card trading, pass the parcel and some sack and egg and spoon races. Grandma and Grandpa came with Arty and his was thrilled they gave him a bodyboard and towel for the beach. He was absolutely spoiled with gifts from his friends. Lots and lots of Pokémon and so many other thoughtful things that Quill is still discovering. He desperately wanted a western jumper and vest so was thrilled that we bought him those. 

Quill is such a dear little member of our family. He is our chicken keeper - feeding and collecting eggs daily. He knows each chicken and their preferences individually. He is our first to wake up in the morning, is quick to have all his tasks done often helping me with lots of extras. This year his reading has come along so well, his running is so impressive and he loves playing soccer. It's lovely to watch him grow, try new things and take on hard things. We are so proud of you Quill! Happy Birthday!
