Quill has really turned from a little boy to a mini kid this year. He is so independent and loves riding his scooter with the big kids in the street and trying to keep up with his big brother and sister. He definitely doesn't like being held back from the fun and see's the street as an extension of our house, no need to tell anyone where he is off too! Much to mum's dismay. He has grown up so much and is changing so quickly, some days I can't believe how fast it has all happened.
Preschool has been the big highlight for Quill this year, he began two days which he has loved. He really enjoys going and looks forward to those days so much. He has so many little friends around town that he is always saying hi to kids in the street or at school pick up. I have loved that he has had that special time around kids his age where he is a good friend and a fun maker. He has good little friends everywhere he goes. Every time we go to the playground in Bungendore, without exception, Quill will find a friend from preschool and they will run from one end of the playground to the other having a great time. He also loves his little pal Maddie at church, they have the cutest little conversations and love to play together. It's not only kids though, every adult who meets Quill adores him. He is very sweet and charismatic and is happy to hang around and have a good chat with people. I like that he has that nice attention and is so well liked. I think we have a little socialite on our hands.
Quill has taken off with his swimming this year. He adores his lovely teacher and has really improved his skills. A lolly snake after lessons has also been a tasty motivator. He even had a try at swim club for a few weeks and wasn't bothered by the freezing Bungendore pool. Quill is an absolutely wizz on the scooter and rides around our street with great confidence.
We really enjoy watching Quill grow into himself. He has a cheeky, fun, loving personality. He loves animals, especially dogs. He loves when Arty comes to stay with Grandma and Grandpa and loves climbing into bed with them in the mornings.
Quill loves life and we love him!
