The littlest kitten has turned three! And oh how gorgeous she was soaking in her special day. This was the first year that she was truly aware of birthday season and after watching Finley and Primrose have their special day she eagerly awaited her own. I hadn't planned on doing a party but she talked about her upcoming party with so much excitement I realised I didn't have much choice!
Lily woke to much love and birthday wishes from the five of us. She was hugged and kissed and was beaming that her day had arrived. Dad made some pancakes and berries for breakfast and we all gathered together for her to open her presents before the kids had to race off to school. She opened each gift with so much anticipation and joy, it was lovely to watch. She got a new pair of swimmers which she can't wait use when the weather warms up, a horsey raincoat, which is perfect for our cold and rainy winter that has set in, and the Sylvania Families dream mermaid kingdom with more little mermaids and princess babies than a girl could dream of. She was so thrilled by in all and got right into setting it up with and playing with Dad.
We spent the day getting ready for her party afternoon. We hung her banner and balloons, made the cake and set up the party bags and food. Lily put on her new party dress and we put sparkles in her hair, all ready for her four little friends to arrive at 4 o'clock that afternoon. Lily just beamed at her party. She could not have been happier playing with her friends. They made party crowns first, then we did pass the parcel and dancing before food, cake and presents. Lily was absolutely in her element and loving having her little besties Jackson, Freya, Winter and Grace there to party with her. She was given some lovely gifts, some dress up's, makeup, a rapunzel doll and her favourite, a little music box. It was a true joy to watch her having such a great time.
Lily went to bed a very happy and loved little girl. She has grown up so much and the years really do feel like they are flying by with her. I do love this age and stage so much. Lily doesn't have a care in the world, she chats away about all the things that matter to her and has so much love and happiness to share. We love you our Lily girl. Happy Birthday.
