Finley reached a big milestone this week - High School! He is more than ready. Independent, capable and confident, Finley is ready for this next adventure and all of the opportunities and learning that Year 7 will bring. I'm very proud of how he has navigated the last year and half with our move, he's shown his resilience and he's really excited for this next stage. We are really thrilled with his High School - Hunter Valley Grammar. It's the right combination of academics, extra curricular and opportunities that we were looking for. It's a place where I'm sure he will really thrive.
We are as ready as can be. Uniforms, bags, books and stationary. We are lucky to have Frank, our faithful bus driver who has helped Finley navigate the journey to and from school on the bus. Finley will catch Frank's bus at 7:40 and swap buses down the road to take him on to school. Same on the way back and he will get home just after 4.
Grandma came to see Finley off on his first day. It was an exciting morning. Finley was up early and dressed, ready to go. Mum and I drove him in, waited and watched for the first meet up and then left him too it. Now it's over to Finley - we can't wait for him to embrace and enjoy these next years and all that they bring. So proud of you Finley!
