Well the day finally arrived! Lily is in Kindergarten. She has patiently waited for literal YEARS for this day to come and here it is. She is ready and thrilled it's her turn to back her bag, get on the bus and learn, learn, learn. Every morning she has jumped out of a bed with a 'is it a school day?' There were no tears on her end saying goodbye, but I had a little moment in the car after leaving her. Just so grateful for the years I've had her at home and what a joy she's been. A beautiful way to finish 13 years of my little ones at home in the week.
Lily's first week started with three shorter days, then into the next week it's been full days and the bus to and from school each day. She is so happy at school but a little overwrought at home no doubt from the exhaustion of this big and new part of her life. She's thrilled her friend Charlotte is in her class and her teacher is Mrs Sadage, who coached Primrose netball team last year. I heard back that she's about as ready as can be for school and is absolutely loving every part of it.
We are thrilled for you Lily and can't wait to see all of your learning and progress! We love you x

Love my Lily Pilly. She will shine!
