We decided on a girl’s day in Bowral to celebrate Courtney
turning 29. Lily, Primrose and I, caught the early morning train together to
meet up with mum and Courtney in Bowral for breakfast, lunch, bakery and shop
perusing. Bowral is the perfect little town nestled amongst gorgeous
countryside. Just the spot for some relaxed time together.
We always seem to pick cold days for these outings but the
sun was shining so it made for a lovely day regardless. The little girls and I
had a lovely time on the train. They felt the adventure of it all getting up
early with Levi dropping us to our lovely historic station just down the road
and we had lots of fun and snacks on the two hour ride in. Courtney and mum met
us with smiles and cuddles and off we went for breakfast complete with tea to
warm us up.
We had a lovely time wandering, looking in bookstores and at antiques. Always looking for treasure The food is always lovely, we ate lunch and grabbed treats for ourselves and everyone at home. It truly felt like Autumn with the season marked with the falling leaves and crisp cool air. Just the day to celebrate my gorgeous little sister. Not so little any more.
