Mum and dad had a very full house for Christmas with Courtney, the Catton's and the Tate and Hanna Ryan's. It made for many presents under the tree, lots of food, playing games and relaxing - just how we like Christmas day to be.
The kids all slept together up stairs and did their best to hold it together and not wake us all up for presents. They were very patient and eventually the present giving began with breakfast close by to nibble on as it all can take some time. Some notable presents were dad's first ever ipad to bring him into this century, Levi's ukulele, gorgeous diamond earrings from Levi for me, Primroses's roller skates and very cool flying fairies for Prim and Thea. Everyone else was spoilt of course, with lots of sharing of favourite things as gifts, little reminders that everyone is thinking of one another.
The food was wonderful and lots of fun was had in the backyard with old school games. It was wonderful to be all together and give our kids the Christmas we have all grown up with. Nothing like coming up for Christmas.
