A lot happens in a year when you are a baby. So much growing up and our little Lily has gone from our babe in arms to our adventurous toddler with personality in spades. She is so full of life and seems to have walked and talked quicker than the rest in hopes to catch up to them. She is little and fierce. She knows exactly what she wants and she has five people at her disposable for all her dreams to be fulfilled.
Lily is universally adored. She is funny and sweet and very much the baby of our family. She is picked up, dressed up, dragged about for all the fun and she loves it. She has a different and special relationship with all of her siblings, she goes to Finley to get things done, Primrose for special time and Quill for fun. She is equally attached to both Levi and I, and of course loves when she has the attention of both of us at the same time. The true love of Lily's life though is blankie, who she sweetly calls mankie ... which happens to be quite fitting as being dragged to and fro leaves it in a state.
This year she has gone from sitting and crawling to walking and talking. She likes to swap out the beginning letters of things, glink for drink is on of my favourites. She is a world class mimic and great at copying your intonations even if the words get left behind. She loves all food but best of all cheese, gogurt as she says, sausages and chocolate. She loves clothes, especially pulling them out of drawers, baths and getting dressed after, having her hair brushed and story time.
Our little babe is growing up and each new stage and milestone is a joy to watch. She is lucky to be loved so widely and the joy of it shows on her little face.
